This is how holiday rental owners described Piobbico
Piobbico is a beautiful town located at the foot of the Nerone Mountain, in the hinterland of le Marche and Umbria. The rivers Biscubio and Candigliano flow through the city and you can enjoy a marvellous and unpolluted nature full of clean streams, beautiful glimpse, green valleys and plains. ...
The history of Piobbico is bind together with the Brancaleoni family. Its castel, typical of the middle age, is one of the most beautiful momuments of the area and it is visited by a lot tourists. The castel has been renewed several times in the past years and now it hosts the city museum Brancaleoni. It is a geological and paleontological museum divided into seven exhibitions which include rare finds from the area. At the front of the castle there is also the only working anticlockwise clock in Italy, which you can "read" anticlockwise from one side and clockwise from the other side.
One of the most famous association is the "the Club of the ugly men" (Club dei Brutti) which fights, in a funny way, against the cult of beauty. Among its followers there is also many VIPs.
