    “The drawback first: By the Atlantic beach in Hourtin Plage there are about 13 km; and unfortunately the Live Guards were (we were there in September 2015) withdrawn after the first weekend of September and the beach facilities peu a peu degraded.
    The more tourism-based shopping and sports facilities, as well as the gastronomy in Hourtin Port and Hourtin Plage have in the ground in the course of our three-week stay closed its doors.
