This lovely cottage is situated in a quiet and peaceful location. You may hear the bleating of sheep in the distance or see a deer walk around in your garden. The house is located in a beautiful landscape enveloped in magical silence. It offers a wonderful view of the river Fuglestadelva, the lake Bjåvatnet and the North Sea. There are good swimming and fishing opportunities nearby. There is a sandy beach not far away which both adults and children can enjoy. You can also visit Ålgård and Kongeparken or go on day trips to the Lysefjord and the Pulpit Rock.

    “Gemütliches und gut ausgestattetes typisch norwegisches Holzhaus mit modernem Bad im Keller. Das Dachgeschoss mit den Einzelbetten ist etwas rustikal und man kann als Erwachsener nur in der Mitte aufrecht stehen. Für Kinder ist es aber ideal.
    Die ruhige Lage auf einem Naturgrundstück hat uns sehr gefallen. Der Zugang zum Haus von der Straße aus, ist ziemlich steil. Man sollte schon gut zu Fuß sein.
    Die Sitzecke hinterm Haus haben wir gern zum abendlichen Grillen genutzt. Wir haben uns komplett selbst verpflegt und sind mit den vorhandenen Küchenutensilien gut zurecht gekommen.”

    “Das Haus liegt sehr idyllisch zwischen Wiesen und Wald mit wunderbarem Ausblick auf den darunter liegenden See und hat bis am späten Nachmittag Sonne. Es ist ein absolut ruhiger und entspannender Ort. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und nett eingerichtet und es fehlt dort wirklich an nichts, es ist vom Geschirrspüler bis zur Waschmaschine mit Trockner, Handtücher, Sauna einfach alles vorhanden. Wir haben uns jedenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt und haben es sehr genossen.”

    “Das Haus selbst war selbst an regnerischen Tagen eine heimelige Insel. Holzfeuer im Ofen und Saunagänge, dazu Lesen mit Blick auf See und Meer, so hatten wir uns das unter anderem vorgestellt. Es war alles angenehm normal und kein übertechnisiertes Haus, das vor allem mit seiner Lage an einem Hügel punkten konnte. Guter Ausgangsort auch für Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Daumen hoch.”
