“Small, sleepy village, very quiet, easy access to the mountains, some shops for shopping, many animals (dogs, cats, cows, sheep, etc.)”

“In the village itself are 3 shops (small mom and pop shops) with fresh bread in the morning, everything you need on the day and for hiking. We also found a nice hotel, the "SIPOX" that something is off, however, already conveyed from the exterior a clean condition and is highly recommended from the inside. Nice, friendly staff sprechend--German, a good menu (also in German) with delicious food and a very low price ... Have been eating from Monday to Friday every night ... Large markets such as Tesco or Kaufland or Hypernova are then in Poprad. The big stores have opened Mon-Sun, in Strba the small shops also. For recreation, I can make no further information because we have every day made a several hour hike and climbed many peaks. Evening we were broken. Our vacation we have chosen because it is quite central for our made things and the price-performance ratio totally true.”

“A small town with little facilities. Positives: a small grocer, which is open every day of 5 clock in the morning until about 21 clock and you can buy everything you need (what you forgot). Positives: Strba station about 6 km away, offering direct trains, gear in the High Tatras and to Poprad and regional train on. Traveling by train are very inexpensive. In addition, a relatively safe feeling in the place.”
