Small coastal state at the Adriatic
Montenegro | Little Montenegro adjoins the "big neighbour" Croatia in the south. Tourism still proceeds at a rather leisurely pace here. The country has only just been discovered as a tourist destination that offers both sun and beach, as well as plenty of nature and culture. A holiday home is therefore the ideal place to stay, as large and small accommodation units can be found to suit every taste. The picturesque Bay of Kotor, among others, is especially popular. A unique landscape formation has emerged here from thousands of years of karst rock erosion. The best beaches, in contrast, will especially tempt you on the coast around Budva, which is also a worthwhile cultural destination with its historic quarter.
