“Piran is great, from the apartment you can shop at a small supermarket at the restaurant Boehm, except on Sundays, as you have to Portoroc, they also on Sundays until 17:00 clock at least open.
    Restaurants selection Piran is abundant.
Unfortunately, we had no nice weather for swimming, enjoyed it with excursions, to Postojna (1 hour), Trieste (45 minutes) or Pula (1.5 hours) the holiday anyway.
    Come back in any case.”

draw magical scenes.

In Piran, you will feel as though you have stepped right into a picture postcard. You will be charmed by the narrow streets within the old town wall. In the main square, you will be greeted by the statue of the most famous man in Piran, the well-known Giuseppe Tartini, composer and virtuoso violinist who was born in a house just steps from the square. On the pier, you can catch sight of fisherman unravelling a fishing net. A market woman from Piran will have just delivered vegetables, fresh from her garden, to the market. Locals sitting by the sea, chatting and listening to sounds of the sea, greet you with a nod.

Having coffee, lunch or dinner surrounded by sounds of the sea will ensure pleasant memories for a long time to come.

Our town is very proud of its various cultural and art establishments such as the Tartini theatre, coastal galleries, Maritime museum and Aquarium. Many national and international artists gather at the annual Ex-tempore. Throughout the year, many other cultural events take place.

It is a town, rich with architecture and cultural life. The traditional house is in the city centre, close to the library (free newspaper reading, Internet....), restaurants ( 5 in the range of 50 meters), food store (20 m) and 30 m from the bay and 100 m from the main square (Tartini Square).
Catholic churches all all over Piran and Church of Saint Rocco is 10 m from the house. The open air movies, various concerts, events or many open air cafes are meeting places for those who enjoy taking holidays in authentic places with a lot of local charm.
Thou the house is located in the town center, it is not on the main and often loud streets. Arriving at it one goes trough the passage which opens to a beautiful garden with Mediterranean vegetation and local environment. In this traditional, stone house one can experience local, traditional lifestyle and get a real break from everyday routine. This kind of the environment will be particularly enjoyable to culture lovers, artists, relaxation seekers, families or groups of friends. There is a vegetables and fish market every morning or/and farms near by.
Various beaches from wild FKK to more civilised ones, from little stone to pine trees are all in walkable distance.
Reastaurants with italian or international cousine are in every corner of this romantic town, near the sea or so called "osmice" when one can eat home produced food.
Many energy points, exercises on the beach every morning at 7.30. Excellent climate for heart patients too. aMbulance near by.

and to the coast. The house is surrounded with a vineyard which provides a comfortable shade in the summer and a green yard, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunny weather. The house is suitable for couples, families, and even for smaller groups up to 7 – 8 people.
The Piran house is fully equipped: TV, internet, washing machine, towels, sheets, and much more is available for your use. From the terrace you can admire the Slovenian, Croatian, and Italian coast. When the weather is clear, the view will carry all the way to the Alps.
The coast with the beach is only a walk away. All year around you can enjoy the delicious food many restaurants and pubs are offering along the coast, visit the many museums in Piran, take a walk along the coast, or rent a bike, see the Aquarium… We promise you will not be bored!
In the summer you can enjoy your holiday on the coast, there are ample opportunities for swimming, diving, and even fishing. You can do all this along the entire coast of Piran. If you don’t like stony and rocky beaches, you can take a bus to Portorož, where a sandy beach is waiting for you. In Portorož you can also rent a boat or a surfboard, and various other watersport equipment, while your kids can have fun on the trampolines, water slides, or building sandcastles.
If you would like to skip the hustle of ‘tourism’, you will find peace on the Northern coast of Piran, the one you can observe from the St. George Church tower, and which runs all the way toward the village of Fiesa. The path that leads there starts only a hundred meters from the house.
Finally, if you only want to rest, renting our apartment - house is the right choice for you. The house will delight you with a lot of shade, a lot of sun, a lot of grass, and an amazing view.
