“Pera is a small village, not far from the capital Nicosia. In the supermarket in Deftera (10 minutes) or the kiosk in you can buy all you need. There is also a traditional pub (from sadly and closed), several very beautiful little churches and a small old town. The traditional houses, with their shutters are sweet. Nearby there is a lake, a nice walk there. Otherwise, here but not a lot, a rental car is important to get to the beach or to other cities.

Nicosia is reached in 30 minutes by car and a fantastic beach minutes in 50th Even Agia Napa, Limassol, the monastery Macharas and the Olympos Mountain are in good 1: easily accessible 30h travel time and pay off for day trips.”

“Pera is very centrally located, not far from Nicosia and is an ideal starting point for excursions, among others. In the Troodos Mountains, but also on the southern coast The possible combinations between the mountains and the sea are just beautiful.”

“The place Pera offers a supermarket / leads all major food / Dorgerieartikel drinks. Continue towards Nicosia there are more shops. We have mainly local products such as vegetables, wine, cheese sought and found. The supermarkets also offer a range of people with gluten intolerance. The place itself seemed to us because of its location nice and quiet. When we returned from our day trips, we always enjoyed the silence at night. A rental car is (1.5h Troodos Mountains; Akamas 2.5h, 2h Paphos, Golden Beach Northern Cyprus 3h one way) for individual exploration from Pera recommended!”

Book a holiday home in Cyprus for a great beach holiday

Cyprus | Located in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, visitors flock to the island of Cyprus primarily for its climate and the pristine beaches along its coastline. Those who rent holiday homes in Cyprus will also find some interesting historical sites dating back to around the 10th millennium BC.

The best beaches and destinations to visit in Cyprus

Rent a holiday home in Ayia Napa where there are plenty of clubs and pristine beaches including Nissi Beach which has an abundance of cafes and is a great location for watersports. If you book a holiday house in the Paphos district, on the south west of Cyprus, be sure to visit the Coral Bay beach with its golden sands and limestone cliffs. Those staying at holiday rentals at Lara Bay can visit the Lara Beach, a nesting spot for green turtles. On the south coast is Pissouri Bay where the Columbia Beach Resort offers a variety of watersports including sailing and water skiing.

The cultural capital of Cyprus, Paphos is home to intriguing sites such as the Kato Paphos Archeological Park and the Adonis Baths Waterfalls. Book a holiday rental in Larnaka to explore the Wreck of the Zenobia, a great diving site. To experience the landscapes of Cyprus, rent a holiday house in Akamas where there is a 230 km² national park. If you are staying at a holiday apartment in Nicosia take a trip to the Cyprus Museum with its substantial collection of archaeological artefacts.
