“Mombaruzzo is very small. However, there is everything you need. One can also explore the area by car, run or walk. Highly recommend the delicious Amaretti di Mombaruzzo, which you can buy directly on the main street in her shop, etc Arudi Mirella.”

“Mombaruzzo is not touristy and therefore you enjoy total peace and a true Italian atmosphere. 10 minutes drive you have a Lidl for larger purchases but other markets are highly recommended. We especially liked the market in Nizza Monferato very cozy and spacious offerings. This region is the ideal base for anyone who wants to taste and buy wines (there is a wonderful wine bar in Barbaresco!). It also pays to agree among vineyards walking or driving around.
The coast was it a thick one and a half hour drive, but Noli eg. It was really worth a day trip. We also visited Cinque Terre, especially if you do not find annoying the distance.”

“Mombaruzzo is a typical Italian village as you see in the movie. Charming narrow streets, quaint shops, delicious ice creams and a good restaurant. For a supermarket you have to drive a bit. In the village you do get the necessities of life, there is a small "supermarket". The setting is lovely. Few tourists, you are truly among the Italians.”
