“We were directly below the castle Großsölk which unfortunately had to this time of year. Otherwise was in the place is not really much to go shopping, then drove mostly to Gröbming. Schladming was half an hour away, where we have been almost every day. Schladming is a very beautiful city with many offers have been. So who wants to have his peace, is really really in the place. But there is a lot of snow there, what one does not know here in our way.”

“We enjoyed even if there was a winter without snow - we were walking arround, visiting other villages and castle in the valey, joining the events of the season of Advent, enjoy the taste of "Glühwein" and "punch". We were drinking "Melange" in the kindly atmospheres of local bars. We found the snow, natural and artificial - we were skiing on the Dachstein and Schladming arround area, and runnig on skis in Ramsau.

The county Fleiss is not far away from All Those possibilities but offers wonderful nature, clean air, unbelievable peace and friendly people.

We hope to come back again.”

a perfect start to explore Wildlife and Mountains. Although a lot of villages are next to Naturepark Sölktäler, the name is original based on the two main valleys Großsölk and Kleinsölk. In Wintertime the next Ski areas are Hauser Kaibling, Schladming, Galsterberg and Stockerfeldlift.

Between white mountains and hot springs

Styria | Not only is this a popular holiday region with Austrians. Variety of landscape and interesting regions as well as villages shape Styria. This makes it a travel destination frequently visited by domestic and foreign holidaymakers. The north entices with its rugged snow covered mountain range and spectacular Alpine backdrop. The south it is hillier and extensive forest areas provide a perfect setting to relax or go on a hike. In the south east top class types of wine grow here thanks to the humid Mediterranean climate and dry winds from the Hungarian lowlands. The landscape is therefore characterised by vineyards stretched out over steep slopes. Right in the centre of Styria is the state capital Graz. The 2003 European Capital of Culture is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and offers next to the historical town hall, main square and Eggenberg Castle a number of other very interesting sights. The perfect present to take back home from this region is the well known and tasty pumpkin seed oil. If you seek a cosy and relaxing setting for your vacation then the Styrian Spa Region might be of interest. This area is known to have lots of hot springs and provides perfect conditions for a great wellness vacation.
