Summer and winter fun between the Alps and Dolomites

Dolomiti Superski | South Tyrol is a very popular destination during summer as well as winter. The Alps and Dolomites attract visitors with ideal conditions for fascinating active holidays full of hiking, cycling and other sport activities between spring and autumn. During winter especially the skiing areas and the two major networks of skiing regions Ortler Skiarena and Dolomiti Superski are the focus of attention.

On atraveo you can find lovely holiday apartments and houses in the main valleys of the region: The Eisack Valley leads from the Brenner Pass to the south where it meets the Etschtal at Bozen. Tthe picturesque Puster Valley branches off here and stretches right to East Tyrol in Austria. In the north of Bozen, up the Etschtal one will find the renowned spa resort Merano. The Vinschgau with its impressive mountain panorama stretches from here all the way to the Reschen Pass.

Why not browse through the valleys and look for your dream domicile for your holiday in South Tyrol? You can also find further information and tips on the holiday home selection for South Tyrol. Or as another alternative have a look at the atraveo offer for southern Trentino or Lombardy. Here the highlights are clearly the lakes Lago Maggiore, Lake Garda and Lake Como with their stunning Alpine backdrop.

“Very nice small place where little English is spoken. There is everything you need, just the tourist information center is still expandable with offers from the environment.”

“Place is old-fashioned. Lacks the charisma of Dolimiti Superski. Small restaurants on the slopes, which can lead to disagreement when everyone will want to have lunch together. Long queues in front of it there are low prices. The ski rental too small and crowded. Good and extensive ski area with beautiful slopes.”

“Nice and quiet place. Great ski slope suitable for the whole family. Do not expect extremely difficult runs but beautiful trails that go through the trees. You can choose from a Civetta ski pass or a pass for the big Super Dolomitti ski area. We have the Civetta area, 80 km slopes, elected. The disadvantage of the Super Dolomitti area is that the slopes are not interconnected and often by bus or car to drive to another ski area. We found this uncomfortable and could save us well in Civetti area. You can look up, free use of the ski jump with a soft landing cushion. Definitely recommended. Also, you can for 15, - karting on ice, which is nice to do. From the apartment it is just too far to walk to the slopes. Approximately 10-15 minutes so we have done every day by car. There are ample free parking spaces available. For people who are not looking for Apres-ski but nice and quiet slopes, this is really a must. The bustle of Austria can be found here, fortunately, not back. The only downside is the distance. From Eindhoven, it is through Munich 1057 km. As we went into the holiday crocus took the return 14 hours through all the files.”
